C2P'S VIRTUAL POWER HOUSE

With the lock-in we are going to take the indoor cycling studio virtual. You can experience the quality studio workouts from home.

How does it work?

  1. Sessions are delivered through Training Peaks

  2. Email philip@connecttoperform.ie to connect your account

  3. Sync your Training Peaks account with:

    1. Garmin Connect

    2. Zwift (see bellow)

    3. Strava

  4. Follow Philip Hayes ¦ C2P on Zwift using the Zwift Companion App

 

If using Zwift here are the steps to sync your accounts and how to load a workout.

After you have synced your Training Peaks account with Zwift it's time to load the workout into the Zwift Meet Up

The video below shows how you do this 

Here are the steps.

  1. Open the Zwift app and go through to the ride menu. You need to be here 5 minutes before the meet up

  2. You will be prompted to join the meetup, click join

  3. Click ride

  4. Click Let's Go to join the meet up, you will appear on the side of the road on a turbo trainer

  5. Now you are in the meetup we need to add the group workout

  6. Click On Menu

  7. Select Workouts

  8. Select the Training Peaks Custom Workout

  9. Click Workout

  10. Workout is loaded and you can now do this session as part of the group

DON'T USE ZWIFT

​

For non Zwift users you can still join in on the group sessions

​

If not using Zwift you can follow the programme instructions or upload the session into your Garmin

​

COMMUNICATION

 

To communicate with one another - so that we can figure out any technical issues, chat a bit when appropriate, and so that those on the regular trainer can be part of the class - we will use a communication app called discord which is available on both Android and iOS. You will need a set of headphones with a microphone to use the app, but it will very much enhance our virtual experience.

Meet up:

Tuesdays and Thursdays for structured workouts @ 7pm

Sunday morning @ 9 am for an easy group cycle
